About the Role:
Northeastern Assembly, Inc. is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Inventory Material Handler to join our team in Taunton, MA! In this hands-on role, you'll play a vital part in keeping our operations running smoothly by managing the flow of materials and maintaining accurate inventory. This job is a temporary position from October to December.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately track and maintain inventory levels using inventory management systems
- Pick, stage, and distribute materials to the appropriate workstations
- Perform regular counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy
- Safely operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Identify and report inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or supply shortages
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and storage environment
Requirements:
- Prior experience in warehousing, or material handling preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods of time
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision

Compensation: $18.00 per hour
